href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/codes\/article_lc\/LEGIARTI000033207318\/2017-06-06\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Article 226-2-1, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code<\/a> criminalizes \u201c<em>the act, in the absence of the person\u2019s consent to the dissemination, of making available to the public or to a third party any recording or document containing words or images of a sexual nature, obtained with the express or presumed consent of the person or produced by the person themselves, using one of the acts provided for in Article 226-1<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/codes\/article_lc\/LEGIARTI000006417929\/2017-06-06\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Article 226-1 of the Criminal Code<\/a> punishes intentional violations of the privacy of private life, in particular by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>\u201cthe capturing, recording, or transmission of words, with presumed consent or without the consent of the speaker\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>\u201cthe fixation, recording, or transmission of the image of a person in a private place, with presumed consent or without the consent of the person whose image is fixed, recorded, or transmitted\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The
