Fees

All matters entrusted to Me Lois Pamela LESOT are subject to a fee agreement, allowing the amounts owed by the client to be determined in advance.

These fees are determined based on:

• the stage of the proceedings (and therefore the time to be devoted to the case)
• the research work required
• the nature and complexity of the case
• the importance of the interests at stake

Hourly billing

Fees may be determined based on an hourly rate and advance payments corresponding to 10 hours of work.

In this case, the lawyer keeps a record of the work carried out, which is communicated to the client upon request or when the initial advance is close to being exhausted.

Similarly, the client may ask the lawyer for an estimate of the remaining work required to complete the assignment.

This billing method allows the client to ensure they are charged fairly for the work actually performed and is particularly suited to proceedings with uncertain duration (preliminary investigations, judicial investigations, sentence adjustments, etc.).

Flat Fees

In cases where the work required can be assessed in advance, a fixed fee may be agreed upon.

Success Fees

A success fee, in the form of a percentage of the sums obtained following a favorable decision or settlement, may be provided in addition to hourly or fixed fees.

Payment of Fees

Fees may be paid by cheque, cash, or bank transfer.

They may, depending on the circumstances, be paid in installments.
